Job Title: Residential Accountability and Stability Coach (RASC) 

Location: St. Petersburg 

Type: Part-time 

Compensation: $17/hour (starting), with opportunity for Certified Peer Support training 

 

Overview 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Accountability and Stability Coach (RASC) to support adults overcoming addictions and youth aging out of foster care. This role combines case management, coaching, and day-to-day support to help residents build stability, accountability, and the life skills needed for independent living. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide individualized case management and coaching to residents, including goal setting, progress tracking, and referrals to community resources. 

  • Mentor residents on essential life skills such as budgeting, time management, communication, and employment readiness. 

  • Assist with transportation for appointments, employment, or education as needed. 

  • Support and monitor residents in maintaining accountability to house rules and program expectations. 

  • Help ensure the home environment remains safe, organized, and clean by encouraging and assisting with household responsibilities. 

  • Address behavioral challenges with a trauma-informed and supportive approach. 

  • Work collaboratively with staff and on-call team members to provide consistent care and support. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Experience working with at-risk youth and/or adults in recovery from addiction. 

  • Knowledge of behavioral management, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed practices. 

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. 

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. 

  • Must pass a Level 2 background screening. 

 

Desirable Skills 

  • Familiarity with community resources and recovery-oriented supports. 

  • Case management experience in residential or social service settings. 

  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred). 

  • Peer support experience (formal or informal).
